Reverse Transfer

Claim the Associate Degree You May Have Already Earned

Reverse transfer is a process for awarding an associate degree to students who from a community college without having earned a degree. Through a combination of credits earned from the community college and Ferris, students may be eligible to earn a degree without taking any additional classes and at no additional cost.

If you did not earn your associate degree before transferring to Ferris and have earned a combined 60+ credits, you may be eligible to earn your degree from your transfer institution without taking any additional coursework and at no charge.

Eligibility

  • Earned a minimum of 15 credits at a community college
  • Earned at least 15 credits at Ferris
  • In good standing with no holds on your account
  • Earned a "C" or better in all transferrable courses
